A Robot!
Just what you need to act out your science fiction daydreams. Let him clomp across your desk and talk to your electric pencil sharpener!
The robot has a "helmet bubble" cut from frosted acrylic that glows when placed in front of a light (see the pictures). He has a little dial (Geiger counter?)on his chest with a needle that goes back and forth-- this needle is controlled by the wire handle. His legs and pincher-hands are jointed so he sways and dances when you move him from side-to-side.
He is a good robot, and always follows orders.
Laser cut from heavy matboard, this puppet is very sturdy and has a great range of movement. When you are not performing a shadow show, you can stick this Robot in a pencil cup to display him upright. He has brass fasteners for joints, and the frosted acrylic that makes his glowing helmet bubble is a recycled scrap from a local company that I work with.
At 15 inches tall & 7 inches wide, this is a delightful toy you will want to keep on display.
